There’s difference between a crackhead and New York Gov Andrew Cuomo. The former is addicted to an illegal drug to get through the day, and the latter is addicted to out-of-control tax and spending.
I warned my fellow New Yorkers that Andrew Cuomo, a man that has never achieved anything on his own without the help of his former gov father Mario Cuomo, was a big phony. He passed himself off as a new kind of Democrat that believed New York state was taxed enough already. He argued, probably with his fingers crossed behind his back, that high taxes were driving job creators out of New York. Those words usually come from the lips of a conservative Republican, not a tax and spend Democrat.
But, Andrew said he saw the light and wanted to turn New York away from driving over the cliff like other Democrat-led states such as California and Michigan. But, when confronted with a 3 billion dollar deficit, the yearning to tax his way out of it like other tax and spending addicted Democrats was too strong.
So, Cuomo took up the spending pipe and took a deep hit and out came new tax increases and class warfare for the very same job creators-the rich he warned would leave the state. And it’s very likely the millionaires that Cuomo is taxing to death will leave New York and take their businesses with them to lower tax states like Texas or Florida. When that happens they’ll be a bigger deficit and over the cliff we go because there won’t be any rich folks to tax anymore.
