And the bitterness between the Romney and Gingrich camp continues.
I for one am not freaked out by the nastiness like some others have been. I seem to remember that Obama and Clinton was just as nasty if not worse. Hillary thought she was gonna get coroneted as the Dem nominee, when all of a sudden this no-name from the southside of Chicago with no elective experience showed up and ruined her plans. That was a bitter contest that didn’t seem to keep the Democrats from uniting in the end.
Gateway Pundit reports John McCain was a bit offended today when he heard that Newt Gingrich called him a “moderate” conservative. (Really John?) McCain fired back at the Gingrich camp claiming Sarah Palin doesn’t know Newt like I know Newt.
McCain also blamed Newt for the “Bridge to Nowhere” even though he had been out of office for several years when that earmark was pushed through.
Newt’s electability is an issue.
