BUMPED: Biased reporting? Huffington Post treats faker Muslim student Aisha Khan with kid gloves

Here we have a story of a Muslim college student Aisha Khan who went missing for 5 days after she falsely reported she was abducted by a stranger.  She caused a lot of grief and trouble for law enforcement only to find out it was a tall tale.
However, look at the difference in coverage by the Huffington Post which leans very Left, and the Daily Mail from the UK that leans more to the Right.  Bear in mind that Islam is the “chic religion” of the Left and in this case the Huffington Post doesn’t even call Khan a Muslin, she’s just a college student.
Here’ the Daily Mail headline and their first paragraphs.
Daily Mail Headline= 'Thanks for wasting everyone's time': Facebook backlash after missing Muslim teenager Aisha Khan is found - and says she was NOT abducted by stranger

Police said today a teenager who was believed to have been kidnapped after she vanished from her university campus for five days was NOT abducted, sparking an angry backlash from people who supported the massive search for her.
Thousands of people took to the Help Find Aisha Khan Facebook page to raise questions about why the 19-year-old did not contact police while officers put in over 400 man-hours looking for her.
Aisha was believed to have been abducted when she vanished from the Edwards campus of the University of Kansas after claiming a frantic voice-mail on Friday that she had been attacked by a man.

Huffington Post Headline =
Missing college student Aisha Khan has been found safe, authorities in Kansas announced Wednesday night.
The 19-year-old Khan, who vanished Friday after leaving a frantic voicemail for her sister, was "not abducted or held against her will," the Overland Park Police Department said in a statement.
"Our prayers have been answered," said Aamer Trambu, a spokesperson for the Khan family.
It is still unclear where she was during this period.
"Right now, at this point, all we know is that she's safe and sound and there are no further details," Aisha Khan's sister Faiza Khan, 21, told ABCNews.com.

Wow, what a difference!  The Huffington Post is bending over backwards not to mention that this “Muslin” caused a whole lot of aggravation.  That’s what I call a whitewash.
