I made it plain a few days ago that I’m urging GOP voters in Iowa and New Hampshire to take another look at Michele Bachmann. She right on all the issues. She doesn’t flip flop like Mitt Romney and she more focused than New Gingrich.
NewsMax reports Rep. Michele Bachmann is brushing aside poll numbers that show her trailing badly in the Republican presidential campaign in Iowa, saying, "I think we're perfectly situated to be where we want to be."
People are "going to be shocked on Jan. 3 when we see the results" in Iowa, the Minnesota Republican said today on "The Early Show" on CBS. She conceded that former House Speaker Newt Gingrich is on a hot streak, adding that "two weeks can be an eternity" in the presidential campaign.
Bachmann appeared Tuesday as campaign rival Mitt Romney awaited an endorsement from former Vice President Dan Quayle.

It’s a long time to Jan 3 and I gotta feeling that Newt is gonna self-destruct. I’ll support whoever the nominee is. But, for now I think Bachmann is the best choice.
