Let’s be honest here. The Democrat Party is not about to offend their most important voting block by running some other white politician against the first ever elected African American president.
But, Obama’s approval ratings are in the low 40s on their way to cracking the 30s. In 1980 Jimmy Carter had an approval rating of 51% and when he was challenged by Ted Kennedy and Jerry Brown. Gerald Ford had an approval rating of 41% when Ronald Reagan gave him a run in 1976.
The economy is in miserable shape, millions of Americans are out of work, foreclosures are at record highs, and the only thing President Obama knows how to do is run for president instead of being good one.
The Last Tradition is fast becoming one of the most popular political blogs on the net. Don’t miss out on the fun and tell a friend.
